Alex started his career with a deep passion for sports journalism, as it perfectly combined his love for sports and writing. He was fortunate enough to work as a freelance sports journalist for eight years. However, it wasn’t enough to support his family, so by chance, he began working as a sales representative during the week while continuing his journalism work on weekends in the Paris region.

In February 2008, he was set to become a full-time journalist, but when the newspaper he worked for was bought out, his employment contract was terminated. At that point, he decided to move to the south of France. There, Alex began working in the construction industry at FRANS BONHOMME, a general distributor specialising in plastic materials.

Embracing new challenges, he changed companies as needed and eventually joined Sontay. Alex is the Sales Representative for France and Benelux, where he will focus on building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with clients across these regions. He looks forward to staying with Sontay for many years to come.

When did you join the team?

I joined the Sontay team the 3rd March 2025.

What is your favourite part of being at Sontay?

My favourite part of starting at Sontay is discovering a new role covering France and Benelux within a company that values people.

My inspirations?

My inspiration comes from my former colleagues and managers. I focus on communication and consider myself a self-made man in sales.

What do you do outside of Sontay?

Be with my family and watch and play sport.
