Overview

This assessed course gives an overview of the systems and technologies used in the heating, ventilating and air conditioning industry.

Building control and building management systems are also covered. This course is designed for engineers and technicians who have some knowledge and field experience with a minimum period of one year within the industry. It is also recommended that candidates complete Fundamentals of HVAC & Building Technology (BCM01) first.

Online Course Exams for ECS Card Applications

For courses taken online, delegates now take the ECS invigilated exam at the end of the course. This means upon successful completion of the online exam; delegates can use their certificate towards their application for the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) card. The ECS exam is included in the course fee and resits will require an additional fee if the first attempt is unsuccessful.

To administrate the ECS exams we will require the delegates Date of Birth, National Insurance Number and a Passport style photo at the time of booking.
